Duo Fibre Brush Sigma SS187 review time! As I said in my previous post, I have a lot of new and update you on which to speak of! I recently purchased from beloved Flame (
his wonderful blog here) my first brush but also the first Sigma duo fiber. After I fell in love with the Powder Brush Elf, I thought I'd try out the duo fibers thought to be a worthy replacement for the beloved Elf, I was wrong!
Here's how shows the famous brush as we all know is made (as the name implies) two "levels" of fibers, those at the bottom in natural hair and dark on top, lighter ones, of synthetic hair. The first wash has lost a few bristles, since then nothing. The strangest thing though was seeing that the brush lost blue! I continued to wash it but it continued to download, so that the tips were completely white colors of blue and there was no way to "remove the stain." So I suggested to the gentle flame this video
Goddesinspired (
here also found her blog!) Actually useful. Apparently this problem is common to Sigma brushes very much that, as shown in the video, the video has contacted the author of Sigma ask him .. moral of the story, the old man suggested the remedy of vinegar (you know that white vinegar is used for animals lose color ... x "block"). .. I have worked directly dipped the brush in a solution of vinegar and water .. which quickly became BLACK! I repeated until the mixture of vinegar and water did not remain unchanged in color. Now the brush is perfect .. pity that the smell of vinegar is no longer away!
As you can see, there is an extremely dense brush, and this provides a very natural and almost "naked" of the foundation. I tried both with the liquid with the mineral and I really enjoyed it. In the first case, the characteristics of the brush, the product is very easy to deposit into the bristles of the brush below, at the expense of increased use of foundation that it must be "wasted" because it absorbed by the bristles. For how much I appreciate the natural effects that either do not like nearly invisible, the more I find that the writing is not very homogeneous and that the brush tends to leave the unsightly "thin stripes" that must obviously wipe with a latex sponge or your fingers (for remedy). As for use with the mineral fund, provided by the fact that the brush has the characteristic of being very busy and there are many versions of space between each bristle and the other, the effect in this case is not very consistent, so I do not like! Yet even with the bottom liquid, certainly not with the mineral or dust. I found it rather good for blush, ensuring a very natural style "healthy cheeks")
Powder Brush For now, the Elf will not beat anyone, is versatile and unbeatable for a lot of uses! Good for the bottom liquid, writing is extremely smooth and fast, the effect is quite natural but invisible even as the duo fiber. Also great for the powder and the blush, its density allows more marked effects, but also nuance fine and delicate!
Sorry for the dirty brushes, but I've just used this picture this morning .. you can make a comparison between the two, the black and the thickest of the Elf and the other with the white points ( dirty background ..) less dense and more "open". As still madly in love than the Elf, I also find the Sigma a good brush despite not enjoy it in the drafting of the fund.
always look like your opinions:) I hope to be helpful! :) Goodnight everyone!
