TECHNICAL

• application of color by using the spatula. Prepare palette with three shades of color for light, shade and tone in between. Mix the colors on the palette with a spatula without the use of thinner, apply the color directly onto the canvas with a palette knife in a "material", "filling in" areas of the design at different pitches. Proceed by adding or "scraping" the color, always using the spatula, in order to counter the different colors and create shadows, light and shades in between.
