theory of shadows

Using a light source that hits a ball from different areas can be distinguished:

1 - Area light: a direct hit by light rays
2 - Twilight: Part of the object affected to a lesser extent by light rays, thus slightly more 'in the shadow area above
own 3-Shade: part not affected at all by the light
4-Reverb: area luminosity 'on the edge of the shadow of its own, due to the reflections of light rays that strike the first floor are refracted in all directions 5-Shadow flow: part of the plan (on which the object) that is not affected light

The same thing happens if we consider a different sound, like a cylinder.
observe the same areas, with the only important difference: The upper floor will be 'fully exposed (the twilight zone and in fact' much more 'reduced as much as' reduced' the edge on which the light strikes).
The three main aspects to be considered to represent the best shadows are therefore:

. FORM shadow

. Tonal values \u200b\u200b(area in light, shadow, his shadow, drop shadow, reflection)

. SIDE shadow
